Get your ducks in a row. This unassuming BBQ joint in an easy-to-miss strip mall specializes in a duck-only menu, grilled at your table. Start with unmarinated slices of duck, then move on to spicy slivers of shimmering meat, finishing with kimchi fried rice made with charred bits of duck oozing with copious duck fat. The finale is a Korean duck “paella,” festooned with crispy rice on the edges. Sun Ha Jang is open for outdoor dining with limited seating. Takeout is available as well.

Myung Dong Kyoja (MDK) Noodle owner Stella Shin recently repurposed the restaurant’s hidden parking lot into MDK Pocha for outdoor dining. Pocha is short for pojangmacha, which literally means covered wagon, referring to a street food vendor. Since it’s inception, MDK has quickly gained a reputation for serving some of Koreatown’s finest and most delicious noodles and dumplings, made from scratch daily.
